ادی راما، نخست وزیر آلبانی، در مراسمی که به مشارکت آلبانی در پناه دادن و حفاظت از یهودیان در نیویورک اختصاص داشت، به حمله سایبری ایران اشاره کرد که به گفته وی انتقام آنها برای پناه دادن به مخالفان ایرانی در آلبانی بود.
رئیس دولت آلبانی گفت که کشورمان برای پناه دادن مجاهدین در مانز در نزدیکی تیرانا "هزینه گزافی" پرداخت، اما افزود که آلبانی در پاسخ به این اقدام روابط دیپلماتیک خود را با ایران قطع کرد.
راما گفت: "اجداد ما ارزش ایستادن در کنار یهودیان را با به خطر انداختن جان خود برای محافظت از آنها در برابر قصابان جنگ جهانی دوم به ما آموختند و همچنین به جهان آموختند که مسلمان بودن و خانه نشینی یهودیان فقط افتخار است. ، یا مسیحی بودن و همین کار را بکند.
با همین روحیه به هزاران پناهنده ایرانی که هر روز جانشان در کمپ «لیبرتی» عراق به خطر می‌افتد، پناه دادیم و در آنجا توسط تهران مورد سرقت و کشتار قرار گرفتند.
"کشورهای بزرگتر و قویتر اروپایی نمی خواستند به آنها کمک کنند و ما برای مهمان نوازی آنها هزینه گزافی پرداختیم.
بله، ما تسلیم نشدیم و تا زمانی که لازم باشد از تعهد خود برای پناه دادن به این افراد در کشورمان دست نخواهیم کشید، زیرا میهمان نوازی ما مربوط به هیچ موضع سیاسی علیه ایران نبوده و نیست، بلکه صرفاً مربوط به امور بشردوستانه است. اعتقادی که در روح ما حک شده است
ما مجبور شدیم با قطع روابط دیپلماتیک و اخراج پرسنل دیپلماتیک خود از کشورمان به حمله وحشیانه رژیم ایران پاسخ دهیم، اما تکرار می‌کنم که ایرانی‌ها در آلبانی به خواست ما هستند و تهران باید این کار را انجام دهد. راما از جمله گفت که این احتمال وجود ندارد که ما هر یک از آنها را به رژیم تحویل دهیم.

PM Rama in New York event: We will not withdraw from the commitment to shelter the Iranian opposition in Albania

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the event dedicated to Albania’s contribution in the shelter and protection of Jews in New York, mentioned the cyberattack from Iran, on which he said was their revenge for sheltering of the Iranian opposition in Albania.
The head of the Albanian government said that our country “paid dearly” for the shelter of the Mujahideen in Manez, near Tirana, but added that as a response Albania cut off diplomatic relations with Iran.
Rama said: “Our forefathers taught us the value of standing by the Jews by risking their lives to protect them from the butchers of the Second World War and also taught the world that it was only an honor to be a Muslim and to house Jewish people, or to be a Christian and to do the same.
“With the same spirit, we gave shelter to thousands of Iranian refugees, whose lives were endangered every day in Camp “Liberty” in Iraq, where they were robbed and killed by Tehran.
“Bigger and stronger European countries did not want to help them and we paid dearly for their hospitality.
“Yes, we did not give up and we will not give up our commitment to shelter those people in our country for as long as necessary, because our hospitality was not and is not related to any political stance against Iran, but only with the humanitarian conviction engraved in our soul.
“We were forced to respond to the brutal attack of the Iranian regime by cutting off our diplomatic relations and expelling its diplomatic personnel from our country, but I repeat that the Iranians in Albania are at our beck and call, and Tehran will have to make up its mind not to there is a chance that we will hand over any of them to the regime”, said Rama, among other things.
